Govt. Polytechnic, Satyavedu was started in the year 2008 under the state government in a rented building at Government Jr. College Satyavedu. The polytechnic started functioning at its permanent campus from 2013, which spreads over and area of 10 Acres.. At the time of starting there were Two main diploma courses of three years duration in Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering. The diploma courses in Electrical engineering and Electronics and Communication were added to the existing courses later in 2009. Institution focuses on the overall development of the students by encouraging them to participate in extra-curricular activities like Sports, Games etc.. The training will be in a Conductive environment of safety and care taking and by a set of qualified, dedicated staff who are keen on professional development and responsive to change. It also provides opportunity and leadership in continuing education to adults/ unemployed Youth in the field of technician education by the Skill Development Center at reasonable charges.
