PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE:

My Dear Prospective Students,

Government Polytechnic, Sathyavedu imparts Diploma Courses in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The College has 10 acres of land with very good infrastructure facilities, well-equipped laboratories, an experienced team of faculty members, and modern teaching amenities and pedagogy. It is an institute where discipline and punctuality, along with a conducive environment, provide quality education and development in frontier areas of Engineering & Technology.

I, Sri G. Usha Devi, have 38 years of teaching experience as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Head of the Department in Civil Engineering, and as Principal at Government Polytechnic, Sathyavedu. I have been a source of inspiration to the staff in shaping the present campus by establishing digital and virtual classrooms, providing amenities for staff and students, laying internal roads, plantation of around 4000 plants with proper watering management, establishing RO plants in each block, achieving good results in board examinations, motivating students to participate in extracurricular activities, and driving placement activities.

The staff and students are constantly motivated to participate in Clean & Green and Swachh Bharat programmes and plantation drives, making the campus clean and conducive. Enormous efforts have been made to attract industries from the nearby Sri City Industrial Corridor to conduct placements. Activities such as sports and games, medical camps, student counselling programmes, guest lectures by eminent academic and industry personalities, and yoga awareness camps are regularly conducted.

The institution has successfully developed laboratories and infrastructure through coordinated staff efforts. Special care is taken for student welfare, career guidance, and academic counselling. Decision-making consistently represents the best interests of the students and the institution.

With expert guidance from faculty members and a fusion of industry exposure through internships and training, our students are well-prepared to meet industry requirements and secure employment opportunities.
